Business mogul and presidential aspirant Nana Kwame Bediako has donated GH¢50,000 to support traders affected by the recent devastating fire at Kantamanto Market in Accra.
Leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, has shown solidarity with the victims of the recent Kantamanto Market fire by donating GH¢50,000.
Bediako visited the disaster site on Friday, January 3, 2025, and witnessed the devastation firsthand.
He pledged to not only provide financial assistance but also to lead efforts to rebuild the market for the affected traders.
“What I have started is to raise funds for them. I came here with GH¢50,000 as a token, and we will work together to rebuild the market,” Bediako told the press at Kantamanto.
He further called on Ghanaians to join the relief efforts, urging everyone to contribute in any way they can to support the affected traders. “Ghanaians, I plead with you, whatever you have, bring it and let’s support the traders who were affected by the fire,” he added.
Despite the devastating loss, some traders have already begun preparing the site for the reconstruction of their shops, demonstrating their resilience in the face of adversity
